Thanks, Bay Middle School,

for a great RED RIBBON WEEK!
You've told the world you pledge to stay drug and alcohol free!
So many of our Bay Middle School students pledged to stay drug and alcohol free during Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 23-31). They signed a banner telling the world! Sixth-grade guidance classes created posters, and many, many students wore red on Thursday, October 30, to support our message! Thank you everyone!
Westerly students explore song writing, and more!
Westerly PTA brings in Hal Walker
Bay Village Westerly Elementary music students worked with Hal Walker, a professional musician, songwriter and teacher, over the course of several weeks. You can hear the children perform the song they wrote on this video. We thank the Westerly PTA for bringing this program to Westerly Elementary School!

       Normandy Elementary's Wall of Kindness
This former Exit was blocked off when construction of our new addition began. Normandy second-graders turned the blank plaster covering into a Wall of Kindness! Each student drew a picture of himself or herself and noted an example of kindness.
Mrs. Hope Feicks provided the materials, assembled, and hung the finished project. Dozens of kindness examples, like "Treat others the way you want to be treated," and "Say good morning to a friend," show that students learned a wonderful lesson after reading The Kindess Quilt by Nancy Wallace and using their imaginations for something so good!
