For the Love of Reading . . . Westerly principal Sylvia Cooper kept her end of the bargain once again this past spring by kissing a skunk (provided by the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center) when her students surpassed their annual book reading goal. The previous year, the bet was that she would kiss a snake, and Mrs. Cooper obliged by smootching a boa constrictor. Who knows what new experience the students will dream up for their
principal this year? |
