The Normandy Primary School is dedicated to providing world-class educational opportunities for every student. Staff members know that an objective can be achieved only through a cooperative effort with parents and the general community. Parent and community volunteers are enthusiastically welcomed in the classrooms, the office, playground, library, and in the provision of before and after school extended learning opportunities. Indeed, numerous volunteers are present in Normandy School throughout the school day.

A close relationship exists between the community and Normandy School. We work together for the common good of our community. Local Police and Fire officials visit with students often. Special activities for grandparents, Ice Cream Socials, school tours, and informational seminars are examples of the cooperation between Normandy and its community.
