Voicemail Messages will be used for important information like school closings and other issues where we want to notify you of an issue immediately. In most cases, the message system will stop calling you when it successfully delivers the message (someone answers the call or it is recorded on a voicemail system). For truly urgent or emergency situations, the system will call every number (all home phones, cell phones, work phones) that we have in the system for you (this includes school closings). Duplicate numbers are called only once. These urgent messages are also sent as emails and texts (for those who have opted in).
Email messages will be used for more routine correspondence such as principal and teacher updates, reminders of upcoming deadlines and events, etc.
Text messages are very brief messages where your immediate attention is required, and will sometimes contain a link directing you to a webpage with more detail. (If you don't opt in for text messages, you will still get those important messages via voice and email.)
We are committed to keeping you informed while respecting your time and your personal communication resources. Please contact your school office if you need to update your contact information.
