 Bay High Model UN debates Syrian refugee crisis
 Bay High Model UN conference
Students explored the Syrian refugee crisis by adopting the roles of 15 different countries. After extensive research, they debated solutions at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center. Passions were high. [Read more]

Accolades for Bay High Key Club!


Bay High Key Clubbers prove themselves each year at their Ohio District Leadership Conference, which is equivalent to a state competition. As usual, our students won many accolades for their projects and service. In addition, our students played key leadership roles. The event was organized and run by event co-chair Lieutenant Governor, Annamarie McGuire, with Ohio Governor Laura Colagiovanni presiding over the event.

Bay High fundraiser for
St. Baldrick's Foundation trades hair
for dollars to fight childhood cancer.

Another successful BHS fundraiser for St. Baldrick's Foundation to find a cure for childhood cancer. Bay High students and supporters raised $15,786, bringing a three-year total to just under $60,000! The brave student "shavees" were (left-to-right),front row - Jonah Krueger, Sean Gulley, Ben Klaus, Brendan Dougherty; and back row - Ben Andrassy, Brad Beverly, Jack Hautz, Will Huntington (organizer), Jared Hengst, Kyle McPhillips (organizer) and Alex Bennett.

Healthful smoothies added to Bay High lunches
 Thumbs Up for Smoothies!
Katelyn Laskowski, Carlie Buettner, Mr. E say Yes!
Thanks to a grant from the Bay Village Education Foundation, Bay High students are enjoying lunchtime smoothies made from the freshest, healthiest fruits and vegetables. Students tried some free samples on Wednesday, February 24 -- one day before the 12-ounce smoothies will be sold at lunchtime for $4 each. [Read more ...]

Bay High Scholastics Art Awards 2016

Bay High art students garnered 5 first-place Gold Key awards, 8 second-place Silver Key awards, and 13 Honorable Mention awards from a field of nearly 3,000 entries in this year's Cuyahoga County Regional Scholastic Arts competition. Gold Key winners will be judged at the national-level competition in New York City this spring. Find a summary of our winners here.

Goodyear is once again hosting its career day for students interested in STEM careers at the University of Akron on Saturday, April 30.
