Prior to becoming Director of Human Resources at Bay Village Schools, Dr. Schafer served as principal at Olmsted Falls High School, as assistant principal at Brunswick High School, and was social studies teacher at Lakewood High School. She holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Youngstown State University, a master's degree in education from Baldwin Wallace University, and a bachelor's degree in history, political science and social studies from Cleveland State University.
