We are pleased to introduce this web portal to your student's information. You will need the Username and password sent to your home. We know that parents who are actively involved in and informed about their children's education are key to student success in school. In the Bay Village Schools, we have parents who are extremely involved and supportive of the work done by our teachers and other staff members. We hope you will find our Parent Assist Module to be a real help in staying connected throughout your child's education here. Use it to check (information available depends on student grade level):
We plan to make still more information available for the 2008-09 school year. We will be interested in hearing your comments during this transition period to online student information provided to you. |
Frequently Asked Questions about PAM
Will I need special software to use the Parent Assist Module? No. PAM is a web-based program and should work with any computer, both PC and MAC platforms, connected to the internet. Can I change the Username and password? The randomly assigned Username cannot be changed. While the password may be changed, the district recommends you keep the assigned password. The Username and password meet strong security standards which are important to maintaining the security of your student's information. In addition, we are required by law to provide access to student information to noncustodial parents, and we will reset passwords if one parent is not provided with any password changes. Can I arrange to share one Username for all my children? At the present time, a separate Username is required for each student. Does forgetting to log off compromise my student's security of information? No. Closing the window automatically logs off the account. I would like to see teacher grade books; can we arrange this? The district has been testing online teacher grade books this year and we hope to have one in place for the 2008-09 school year. Can I pay for lunch accounts online? We do not have the capability to accept online payments of any kind at the present time. We are exploring how we can allow acess to student lunch accounts (to check balances, etc.) for the next school year. |
